This weekend went by so fast.  The weather has been lovely (with some rain and thunder on Saturday)  and I have had some nice, relaxing time with my boys.  Well, speaking of boys, our little one is not really quiet lately,  he's actually talking A LOT in his little baby language and SCREAMS, especially when you stop him from doing something he's not supposed to!!  But, he's such a cutie! :)
Hope you had a good weekend and may this week be a really nice one as well! Xo!

Kissable little thing

kissable
Sometimes I don't think I realize that I am a mother, and when I do I feel more in love with this amazing miracle called BABY. And this particularly little baby is getting big, he will be one year old in July. Where did time go?? I should start preparing a little birthday party pretty soon! :)

It's been a very worm weekend, it's weird how fast weather changes here from cold to hot. But we're excited about a new week specially since it supposed to be a nice, sunny one with cool mornings and evenings! Lots of things to be done, work to finish and lots of walks in the sunset. :)

Have a great, beautiful week!! Xo!

Rainy days...

Before Easter my dad gave me these apple tree wood pieces thinking that I could do some artsy things on them, and they are really cool for drawing. He also added a layer of varnish and this way colors will just stay better. I played on one of them with white ink and the effect and feel looks cool. I will do some more in colors in the future and see how they look like. :)

And yes, it's raining again here. But hey, rain is good! :)

Rain, work and sweet music.

music
It's been so busy these past days, outside was rainy and we spent most of our time indoors. I will be back soon with more posts, for now we are working on projects and listening to baby music! :)

[Note: this little vintage FisherPrice record player is around 20 years old.  I had it since I was little and I think is just so cool that my baby can use it too :)]

DIY: Decorative jars

DIY: Decorative jars
Here is a little fun project that I was working on for some days and today I finally got it done and made some pictures. It's not taking that long to make it, but this is just my way of doing these extra things, since I have others priorities. :)

This is what you will need:
DIY: Decorative jars
Step one:  Measure and cut the paper so that it will fit properly in you jars.

Step two: Once you have your dimensions, start drawing! :)
DIY: Decorative jars
Step three: Adjust the paper in each jar and insert the frameless tealights (you can also use some other light devices, just make sure it's not a candle, the paper will burn). And this is it! :)

Enjoy and have a wonderful week! Xo!
