Flying

If I would have to choose a supernatural power between flying and living underwater I would definitely choose flying. There seems to be something so magical about it and I love birds. :)
Today I had a some fun doing these birdies paper cuts and I probably had more fun taking the pictures. I love how the light was making al these beautiful shades and transparencies. The wind was moving them a lot so the shots are random but sweet. Don't you think? I want to do more now and I am getting all new ideas. :)

Baby, work and evenings walks.

I am sorry for not posting that much lately. It's been so busy around here. But I had a nice relaxing walk this evening with my sis Estera and some dear friends and I thought I might share one or two pictures. I just love how my little one is snuggling in my arms and the lights are so pretty.

Outside is so warm as if you were in a bottle, you can hardly breathe. So we are spending most of our days indoors, taking advantage of just a little bit cooler evenings and waiting for some holiday. How are you spending your warm summer days?? Hope you're having a nice, cool weekend! Xo!

A page of one of my sketchbooks. Sometimes I feel like leaving the drawings as they are, withought adding color and this is one of them, at least for now. :)
Plats are amazing, there's so much beauty, simplicity and detail in the same time. These leafs are from a linden tree besides our flat, their flowers used to smell so good a few weeks ago.

Birthday boy

A few days ago it was our little one's birthday. We learned a lot this past year and his presence, his smiles, sounds, hugs and cuddles are a real joy and a blessing to our lives. It's amazing how fast he changes, how much he is learning every day and how his little personality is taking shape.
One particularly thing is that this little man is a world traveller. He's been in 8 airplane flights starting with 4 months old (2 of them 10 hours long each), he traveled in 5 states in the US and he had a few days trip to Rome as well and he's been so good... so far. :) We are so thankful! 
I just posted a few pictures from his special day.

Birds in the trees

One of my watercolors that I did a few weeks ago. I enjoy the pretty sounds of birds at our windows, It's a beautiful combination while I am drawing them. :)
