Just a little doodle while Sammy was napping. First I sketched it with a light pencil and then painted with white acrylic ink. Have a lovely day dears! :)

Summer favorites

A few months ago a sweet friend of mine, Ruxi, introduced me this amazingly yummy and simple salad.  Since then we are continually making it and everybody in the fam loves it.  You can serve it as a side dish or just as it is.
Here is what you'll need:
~ chic peas
~ cherry tomatoes / I slice them in two
~ fresh chopped basil (or frozen)
~ avocado (optional)
~ extra virgin olive oil
~ balsamic vinegar
~ salt and pepper
And this is it! :) I usually don't use any measurements on salads, I add the desired amount of ingredients as I please.

Skirt Bike

These past days I worked at this little illustration for a beautiful event in Bucharest called "Skirt Bike".  They are encouraging  young urban women to bike as a lifestyle while keeping their unique fashion style. I love it!  My illustration will be offered as a gift to one pretty bike rider this Saturday, so if you are in the the area and want to participate you can see more details here. :)

Custom couples portraits ~ Gabe & Kacie

A little while ago I worked with my sweet friend Kacie on a little special birthday gift for her husband Gabe.  I am planning on doing this in the future for more wonderful couples out there. lately on instagram

We've been back home since Saturday evening so our sleeping schedule is still a little weird.  But hope to get back to our "normal" routine soon and get organized a little more on this blog space as well.  Our mother's day was jet lagged but sweet. :)  Hope your weekend was lovely!  xo

Lino print foxy

Two nights ago we had a really fun time with some sweet friends of ours doing lino printing. I carved this little fox and boy my fingers were hurting! That linoleum was pretty strong! I usually just used the really soft linoleums for my hand carved stamps but I am sure going to try this again soon! It's just too fun! :)


PS: I have some little hand drawn wood brooches that I would like to add to the shop tomorrow. So come by and take a look! Oh, and a print of this deer illustration will be there too! xo
